ARCADE aims to establish Architectural research as a tool to create innovative and sustainable approaches for the design of the built environment. To that purpose it will investigate in depth the traditional architecture in the Arab World and its wealth of solutions as well as the contemporary architecture, focusing on the continuity between them and the need for integrated solutions.
